The Rape of Prosepina in the Galleria Borghese. It depicts a man holding a woman who is trying desprately to escape. His face is obscured because of the way she pushes against him.

The gorgeous way that Pluto’s hands press into Proserpina’s flesh are not reflective of passion; they’re reflective of force.
