So like, I had a thought.  Which was, I don’t think there seems to be any good consolidated trans 101 resource.  At least not that I’m aware of.  A lot of different blogs tend to cover 101 topics while primarily addressing specific problematic things, but I haven’t seen anything specifically about educating people (either cis people or trans people who are trying to understand themselves.)

Like there isn’t, as far as I know, a good resource to link to when cis people start asking obnoxious questions, especially. I mean, some obnoxious questions obviously are just bad faith trying to center conversation around cis people and such, but some of them probably really are good questions—at least inasmuch as the person asking them has no clue what’s going on—and having an answer out there is important.

Which, I mean, there are answers out there, and you can find those via research.

But there isn’t a good consolidated resource specifically about educating as far as I’m aware.  At least with regards to transness.  I’m thinking something like http://finallyfeminism101.wordpress.com/ only for transness.

So like… I noticed I really like talking and such :P And probably could cope with explaining really basic topics to people, to some extent.  So I was sort of interested in trying to start something like this, but… I don’t think I have enough energy to do this solo, and moreso, I have no experience being FAAB and while I have a little with being nonbinary, I also have a binary identity I use a lot, so I probably am not the best authority on nonbinary issues.  Plus I mean, I am one person and while I’m aware of my experiences, they aren’t universal even for MAAB women.  Ergo I don’t want to try to do anything like this alone.

Plus I am like, hypersensitive to transmisogyny and if I had to deal with really overt trolls it would suck all my energy out almost immediately. 

So I guess my question is, is there anyone else who would be interested in working on a resource like this with me?

EDIT: I should add, probably signal boost this please, I don’t have very many followers and it’s hard to recruit help when only 40 people can see you making such a call. :P
